There are many ways to travel to Samos, by air is the favourite however it is also possible to arrive by ferry. For details of ferries to Samos choose the link on the right hand side of this page.

This section highlights many of the flight options for travel by air to Samos. Direct flights are possible from the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Austria, Finland, Belgium, Switzerland and of course Greece!

1. Flights from the United Kingdom include ;
   * Thomson Airways also known as FlyThomson, operate a weekly flight from both Manchester Airport and London Gatwick Airport. Both flights depart on a Thursday and are direct to Samos.    * AegeanAir operate daily flights from London Stanstead to Athens with direct connections to Samos.

   * Olympic Airlines offer daily direct flights from Manchester and London Heathrow to Athens with direct connections to Samos

   * Olympic Airlines the national airline of Greece operate flights throughout all of Greece and further afield including connections from all major cities of the world.
   * Aeagean Air offer direct flights from Athens to Samos as well as flights to Athens from European cities.

For visitors from any country not listed above it is possible to travel to Samos by air transiting any of the above cities, there are many dialy flights operting from Athens and other Greek airports to Samos and these are operated by Olympic Airlines and Aegean Air.
